Norfolk Panther JOOI Clubs One of our day care children is selling lemonade to a local resident. Lemonade was sold for donations. The kids raised over $135 in about 6 hours selling lemonade and cookies. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation wristbands were sold after the event, raising an additional $40. The kids had a great time and local neighborhood youth came to help out our day care kids.

Jackson County (IL) 4-H To help with promotion, WSIL-TV interviewed Lucas on Thursday before the Childhood Cancer Awareness Day on April 21.

Jackson County (IL) 4-H On May 1, visits were made to Carruthers, GJAL, and Giant City schools for the final pick up of tabs students had been collecting since the project began in mid-February. The truck was filled with an estimated 400 lbs. of tabs. Thank you, students and faculty!

Rigby High School Todd Lundquist, Clint Hooper, Braden Asper, Veronica Barnes. We offered cancer fighting foods, spinach, grapes, plums and 100% pure juice during the day.

Candlelighters Youth Council Luisa and her doctor, Michael Graham. "I nominated him for the Candlelighters "People Who Light the Way" award. He saved my life." Luisa reports.

Candlelighters Youth Council Luisa and Nito Bravo, a famous boxer in Tucson. He was on the TV show "The Contender". Luisa reports, "My brothers and I used to go to the same gym as him, ever since I was 8 years old. It was neat that he recognized me."

Sting Cancer January 19th, 2007, we held a benefit dance for a student at Preble that has cancer.
