Hey there KWCAC,

Great work! You’re out there raising money for research. Let us know how much money you collect, and send some photos of those imaginative tiles and the buckets. And you all. Way to go!

anyways, after my first attempt at commenting to see how this works, onto the real reason as to why i’m here typing away. we are KWCAC, which stands for Kids Who Care About Cancer. we are right now going through the program of Pennies For Patients, which we brought a bucket to every teacher throughout our school to have their students (depending on grades) in their homeroom or certain classes put money to save up for the medical advances and families with kids diagnosed with a type of blood cancer. our school has elementary, middle, and high school grades together under one building, so its easier for there to be more involvement and competition. we are collecting till the middle of May, where we shall see which class also had the most money stored, where they’ll be rewarded with a pizza party.
after we gave out the buckets and talked to each class about this project, describing information on leukemia and our mission, our hospital is planning to create a collage of tiles painted by kids to make at the entrance of the ER section. we’ve already painted our tiles with positive and imaginative pictures, and are planning to have kids read to us from certain books after we eat. good adio♥
