Dear Norfolk Panther JOOI Clubs,

It sounds like you are doing wonderful, creative work. Please let us know how these carnivals are going. Can you post some photos or links on the Results page (once we get it up and running)? How do you get copies of the Sink the Zebra book?

Melissa

As youth members of Optimist International, the Norfolk Panther JOOI Clubs are committed to helping in the fight against cancer. We raise approx. $2,000.00 annually for the Childhood Cancer Campaign. We work with the Zink the Zebra Foundation and use Zink the Zebra: A Special Tale when working with young children. The book was written by 11-year-old Kelli Weil a victim to bone cancer. We use the book and other activities to help teach tolerance to primary grade students. We also have a partnership with Children’s Hospital in Omaha where we are scheduled to do two mini-carnivals for patients and family members during February and April.
